Harvest Leadership Team (elders) decided that 60% of the funds would go to Haiti through Children's Hunger Fund which amounts to $15,137.44 and 40% would be given to Abort73.com which amounts to $10,091.63

Amazing generosity!
Last Sunday's offering (1/24) totaled $16,500 which is an amazing response of worship to God. Wow!
Just to give you the backdrop of this story: On Sunday January 17, I told the congregation that the leadership group (Elders) of the church felt led to dedicate the entire offering we receive on Jan. 31 to help in Haiti and to support abort73.com in their effort to bring an end to another tragedy - abortion. As soon as we decided this and got the word out on Facebook and Twitter, our roof began to leak and the estimate to fix the thing was scary. Now we needed the offering we had just committed to Haiti and abort73.com!
We decided to go forward with what we had promised and I told the church that we needed a generous offering on Jan. 24 so that we could keep "Basecamp" (our church) operating. Last Sunday (1/24) our offering was $16,500. That is $4,000 over our weekly need! I am so pumped. What an amazing response of worship to God!
I can't wait to see what God enables us to do for Haiti and abort73.com next Sunday!
